Sri K. Radha Krishna Murthy
There are many great individuals in the world. We pay our respect to them. As Vemana - one of the greatest poets of Telugu said: Even amongst the human being, great people are a special class of their own. These thoughtful words are literally true. There are only a few who can lead, march and forge ahead spreading the message and holding the flag of change and transformation.
It is our sacred duty to remember them and pay homage to them. Let us try to remember and reminisce an unforgettable individual who never expected any thing for himself in return for his dedicated work and tried to remain quiet - Sri K. Radha Krishna Murthy, Founder Chairman of Amruthakrishna Group of Companies.
He was born on April 29, 1934 to Sri K. Subbarayappa and Smt. K. Gowramma in Kayanadurgam of Anantapur District. He lost his mother and father at his early age and spent his childhood with paternal aunty Smt Lakshmi Devamma. He studied up to SSLC at Municipal High School , Adoni and undergone Village Level Worker training from Andhra Pradesh State Government at different Training Centers from Nandyal, Kalahasthi and Hyderabad . He started his career by opening a Fancy Stores at Bellary and made a good beginning. In 1960 he got married to Smt K. Amruthamma and had two daughters and one son.
Later Sri Radha Krishna Murthy received a call letter from AP Government of Panchayat and joined the Department as Village Development Officer at Adoni. He had a very good tenure at Adoni Samithi and was serving the Government as Head-quarter Village Development Officer. In 1987 he opted for Administration and was Senior Accounts Officer, Zilla Parishad Kurnool and retired by 1992. He was well recognized for merits and knowledge by the friends; relatives and associates who were use to consult him on many issues. He had an excellent knowledge on current affairs which keeps him active in all spears all through. He gave the best possible education to all his children. During his service, he led a delegation to meet Honorable Jalagam Vengalarao, Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on few issues related to the Government. He was a staunch integrationist strongly believed in Hinduism. He served Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh and attended several movements during his career. He strongly opposed untouchables. The entire family supported his progressive ideas and followed his footsteps.
His wife Smt K. Amruthamma extended her full cooperation and fulfilled her duties, which enabled him to be successful in all his endeavors.
After his retirement from Government Service, he became driving force to his son resulting in floating Amruthakrishna Group of Companies who are mainly into Industrial and Project Management Consultancy Services etc. He was Founder Chairman for the AKG and driven the force in right direction which resulted the Company to get ISO 9001-2000 Certification for the first time in Andhra Pradesh. Like this, there were so many milestones in his career which are true guidelines for youngsters to follow. He had severe heart attack and breathed lost on 11 th July 2006. He was an unforgettable great individual who dedicated his life in service of humanity without looking for any gain.
Don't worry about how long you live it's most important how you live. This is quite apt to Sri K. Radha Krishna Murthy who has given a real definition and stood example for this.
